Can your non-profit get RAII funding?
In several regions, not-for-profits can receive up to 90% of eligible costs as non-repayable funding through the Regional Artificial Intelligence Initiative. The rules depend on where you're located. Here's how it works in each region, and how we can help you apply.
RAII funds non-profits that help AI take hold in their region
RAII isn't general operating funding for charities. Non-profit projects are usually funded when they help businesses in the region adopt or commercialize AI, or when they strengthen the local AI ecosystem.
That often includes industry associations, economic development organizations, post-secondary institutions, innovation centres, and Indigenous organizations.
Non-profit eligibility in each region
Each federal agency sets its own rules for not-for-profits. Select a region for its full requirements.
