RAII grant writing for Quebec businesses and not-for-profits
Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED) is accepting RAII applications on an ongoing basis. We help Quebec organizations prepare strong applications in French or English.
What CED's RAII program offers

Important timing rule
In Quebec, costs are only eligible from the date your application is submitted. Spending before you apply may not be covered, so apply before you start the project.
Not eligible in Quebec
- Municipalities
- Public agencies, including health and social services agencies
- Schools and school boards
Your Quebec RAII application
- Confirm you're an eligible SME or not-for-profit and pick the right pillar
- Assess your technology readiness level for commercialization projects
- Plan timing so your key costs fall after submission
- Prepare the project description, budget and financing structure
- Write the application in French or English
In July 2026, CED announced about $13.9 million in RAII funding for 63 Quebec organizations.
